Our team members bring forth a multitude of professional skills and industry expertise that enable SAH to successfully lead and collaborate on development projects of various scales and outputs.

Brendon Vandayar

CEO

Brendon Vandayar is a professional town planner with a career spanning approximately two decades that involves professional roles in Metropolitan Municipalities and large multi-national consulting firms, and thus leads the SAH team. Brendon’s career includes research on municipal boundaries, powers and functions of municipalities and categorisation of metropolitan municipalities as a pre-cursor to an extensive career in management consulting.

Having previously led multi-disciplinary teams in projects varying in nature, Brendon has established himself as a Transaction Advisor and management consultant, capable of guiding clients through complex assignments. Brendon’s guiding principle in infrastructure development is, “public-sector-owned land, need not be sold permanently but rather developed under concession-type agreements which ultimately returns land to its rightful custodian, the State.” This approach paves the way for increased participation from the private sector and ensures the State driven vision for land development is realised.

Nico Venter

Director

Nico currently leads the integrated planning and development department in SAH as Director. He brings forth 22 years’ experience in planning, integrated development solutions, transport orientated development, urban design, master plans, urban renewal, urban regeneration, land use management and strategic planning. His experience extends to the envisioning of potential projects, possible future city development, preparation of feasibility studies, sector plans, urban development frameworks and business plans. Nico also has expertise in the planning and design of integrated developments for a variety of public / private funded projects. Nico is well placed to advise the public and private sector on cities as sustainable and livable places which can adapt their unique cultural identities and specific historic heritage to contemporary needs.

Sakhe Mdikane

Associate Director

Sakhe holds a BSc (Hons) Construction Management from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. Sakhe has managed a construction company while overseeing all aspects of the business in addition to a significant stint in consulting as a construction project manager. Sakhe brings to SAH his wealth of career expertise which spans in excess of fourteen (14) years.

Vinolen Naidu

Associate Director

Vinolen currently fulfils the Associate Director role, he has completed his National Diploma in Construction Management and Quantity Surveying and recently completed an Advanced Project Management course. He is a Registered Quantity Surveyor who has gained extensive experience in the Mining Sector, Commercial Building Sector as well as the Public Sector. Amongst his skills set, Vinolen is highly effective at Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Project Controls, Contract Management, Cost Management, Project Administration, Feasibility Studies, Tendering and Contractual Arrangements, Compilation of Dashboards and QMS. Vinolen has in excess of ten (10) years of experience in the Built Environment.

Nomfundo Mbatha

Nomfundo holds a BSc Honours in Quantity Surveying from the University of the Witwatersrand. Having worked in both the Consulting and Construction sectors performing both Quantity Surveying and Project Management services, Nomfundo has gained exposure to the overall project life cycle. Her key skills include but are not limited to; project life cycle cost control and monitoring, contract management and administration, contract negotiations and dispute resolution, sound contract law knowledge (JBCC, NEC and GCC). Nomfundo is currently registered with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP) as a Candidate Quantity Surveyor, and is a Member of the Association of the Quantity Surveying Profession (ASAQS).

Imani Mathode

Imani has obtained a B-tech in quantity surveying and spent the first four (4) years of her career working in a consulting environment. Imani started out as a trainee Quantity Surveyor working at the Kusile Power Station and provided costing and payment related services, under the auspices of a registered Quantity Surveyor, on civil and bulk earthworks projects at the power station.  Imani is a member of SACQSP

Theresa Vandayar

Theresa is the company bookkeeper and has performed accounting functions for a JSE listed group, reporting to financial directors. Theresa’s sense of accounting procedure and systems enables her to implement stringent controls at SAH and her experience which spans twenty (20) years has provided knowledge of a wide range of accounting aspects such as taxation, cashflow management as well as balance sheet and asset depreciation.

Daniela Santarelli

Daniela Santarelli is an accomplished pursuits and marketing manager for SAH. She is the custodian of the SAH pursuits system as well as the company’s marketing, branding and media strategy. She brings forth a decade of experience, knowledge and expertise in the pursuits and marketing sector and is a key component of the SAH sales imperative.

David Lottering

David has 8 years of experience working in a corporate environment. Some of his experience extends to sales and marketing however, more recently he has been tending to the offices of company executives. David takes pride in his meticulous approach to scheduling, and attending to company matters on behalf of company executives while also managing their diaries throughout the working year.

Poppy Maphunye

Poppy Maphunye has worked in both the private and public sector (local government) and accumulated sixteen years of experience. Over these years, she has gained expertise in project planning processes, project management, contracts management, supply chain management, socio economic development, budgeting and resource allocation as well as an understanding and legislation and regulations that govern the public sector. Poppy has also worked closely with community organisations.

Gillian Seetso

Gillian is young and ambitious and always ready. She is a qualified legal secretary and is currently studying toward her Public Relations Diploma. She has over 6 years working experience covering the FMCG, Banking, Legal and Traveling Sectors.

Jamie-Lee Schietekat

Jamie-Lee has 4 years experience in the corporate sector, working as an Administrative Clerk and Receptionist.
With experience in cashflow and extracting data for foreign exchange invoices and VAT amounts. Jamie-Lee takes immense pride in her work and continues to grow within the corporate environment, as well as studying towards her marketing degree

Khethiwe Mchunu

Khethiwe has in excess of 20 year’s experience in the service industry.
